Most recently, Suzan shot a pivotal role in “Still”, a Robb Squad production, as May the procurer of a Safe House for abused women and children. She won Best Acting Duo Award at the Gold Level for the short film. The Short has won a total of 6 awards to date!
Suzan stared and was on the creative team in the Tony Winning Play“Good People” by David Lindsay Abaire at Theatre 40 in Beverly Hills; The show revolves around the Blue-Collar folks of Southie Boston. Both a comedy and drama dealing with very apropos themes for today's issues covering women's rights, racism, classism, and common humanity.
Upon arriving to LA, Suzan jumped feet first into the world of film and television; her most recent projects include the role of Mama in the Web Series, “Cory And The Wongnotes” and as real life killer, Virginia Ann Hyatt, in ID Channel's “Murder Loves Company”. She has also appeared on, “Sex Sent Me To The ER”, “Urban Myths”, “Fast Lane”, “Hug a Bear Club”, “The Middle”, “Telepathetic”, “Raising The Bar”, “Married With Children”, “School Daze”, “Impact”, “Tarot”, “Composure” and “The Sac Fly” to name a few.
Suzan is also an accomplished and well-traveled singer-songwriter. Suzan sang for composers, recorded many demos of her own songs with various collaborators, and sang as a back-up singer for Al Wilson of Show and Tell fame and Brian Wilson’s first solo album. She also traveled to the Middle East to perform at the Inter-Continental Hotel in Oman and Dubai with her classic soul, top forty dance, jazz and blues band “The Blue Class Soul Band”.
With theatre so near and dear to her heart, Suzan has an extensive resume, starting from her first Actors Equity show, “Let My People Come”, at The Village Gate, to “Bubbling Brown Sugar”, at The Shubert Theatre on Broadway in addition to the National Tour to the 2017 LA Broadway World nominated “Separate Tables”, directed by Jules Aaron at Theatre 40 in Beverly Hills to name a few.
