NYU trained, Suzan landed her first Actors Equity show, Let My People Come, at The Village Gate right after graduation. She then went on to become “Bubbly Brown White Girl” in Bubbling Brown Sugar, playing a young Sophie Tucker at The Shubert Theatre on Broadway and with the National Touring Company.
Upon moving to Los Angeles, Suzan sang song demos for composers (including her own original songs) and as a back-up singer for Al Wilson of Show and Tell fame and Brian Wilson’s first solo album, Brian Wilson. Afterward, she traveled to the Middle East to perform at the Inter-Continental Hotel in Oman and Dubai with her classic soul, top forty dance, jazz and blues band “The Blue Class Soul Band”.
Recent Theatre accomplishments include the West Coast Premiere of See What I Wanna See at The Blank Theatre, as well as the 2020 LA Broadway World nominated Seperate Tables, directed by Jules Aaron at Theatre 40 in Beverly Hills. Suzan originated the role of Jenny’s Mom in Internet Dating, The Musical, and played the cantankerous, crazy Jeanette in Theatre 7’s production of The Full Monty, at Theatre/Theater in Los Angeles. One of Suzan’s favorite roles includes playing the role of Janis Joplin in Heaven Rocks at the Sun Studios in Palm Springs, CA.
